Samsung has started rolling out the Android 12 update to the Galaxy A52 5G in the US. As of now, the update is limited to the carrier unlocked model (SM-A526U1). The international variant of the smartphone had received the update last month.
The Android 12 update for the Galaxy A52 5G comes bearing firmware version A526U1UEU4CVA4. It is available on almost all US carrier networks, including AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Cellular South, Comcast, C-Spire, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile. The carrier-locked version of the phone hasn't received the update yet.
If you are a Galaxy A52 5G user in the US, you can check for the new update on your smartphone by heading over to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. If you don't want to wait for the OTA update to hit your device, you can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung had launched the Galaxy A52 5G in early 2021 with Android 11-based One UI 3.1. The company had promised three major Android OS updates for its mid-range smartphone and has already released the Android 12 update. The Galaxy A52 5G will get at least two more Android OS updates in the future.
