Samsung has surprised us once again. The company has released a new software update to the Galaxy A52 5G in the US ahead of other markets. It is usually the other way around, with Europe or South Korea getting new updates first and the US and other North American countries getting them later.
The latest software update for the unlocked version of the Galaxy A52 5G comes with firmware version A526U1UES8EWC2 in the US. It brings the April 2023 security patch that fixes 60+ security flaws found in Galaxy smartphones and tablets. While the update doesn't bring any new features, it might include general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
How to install Galaxy A52 5G April 2023 security update?
The new update is rolling out to the unlocked Galaxy A52 5G on all carrier networks across the US. If you have the same phone, you can download and install the new update by heading over to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. Samsung released the Galaxy A52 5G in early 2021 with Android 11 onboard. The smartphone received the Android 12 update in early 2022 and the Android 13 update in late 2022. The Android 14 update, which could release later this year, could be its last major software update.
