Yesterday, Samsung released a software update to the international variant of the Galaxy A52 5G. This update brought stability and reliability improvements to the device, and it is now rolling out to the carrier-unlocked variant of the Galaxy A52 5G in the United States.
The new software update comes bearing the firmware version A526U1UEUEGXG5. In addition to reliability and stability improvements, the update brings the August 2024 security patch to the US variants of the phone (other countries received the August patch in a previous update that wasn't made available in the US).

There might already be an alert in your Galaxy A52 5G’s notification tray about the latest update. If there is, click on it to get the new firmware. If there isn’t one, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install to check for the update manually. You can also get it from our database.
Samsung will soon roll out the Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 and Android 15-based One UI 7.0 updates. Both of them bring many new features. Unfortunately, the Galaxy A52 5G is not eligible for major upgrades anymore. However, it will keep getting security updates for at least one more year.
