Samsung has released the July 2022 security update to the Galaxy A52 in some Asian countries. The 5G version of the smartphone has also received the update in European countries. Other markets could soon get the update as well.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A52 comes with firmware version A525FXXU4BVG1. The update is available in India, Russia, Sri Lanka, and Turkey. It includes the July 2022 security patch that fixes over 50 privacy and security vulnerabilities. The official changelog also mentions that the update improves the device's stability.
If you are a Galaxy A52 user in any of the countries mentioned above, you can download and install the new update by heading to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung debuted the Galaxy A52 alongside the Galaxy A52 5G and the Galaxy A72 early last year. The phone came running Android 11 out of the box and received the Android 12-based One UI 4 update earlier this year. It will get two more Android OS updates in the future.
