Galaxy A52 bags October 2023 security update in Asia, Europe, USA

Samsung has started rolling out the October 2023 security update to more mid-range smartphones. After the Galaxy A53, the Galaxy A52 has now started getting the new security update, which is now available in several Asian and European countries, along with the USA.

Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A52 5G get October 2023 security update in several countries

The LTE version of the Galaxy A52 has started getting the October 2023 security patch with firmware version A525FXXS6DWI1. It is available in Australia, Germany, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Russia, Thailand, the Caucasus region, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Ukraine, and Vietnam.

The carrier-locked version of the Galaxy A52 5G is getting the new update with firmware version A526USQSBEWI5 in the US. This update is currently available on Comcast, Metro PCS, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Xfinity Mobile networks in the country, with more to join the availability soon.

The factory-unlocked version of the Galaxy A52 5G is getting updated with firmware version A526U1UESBEWI2. This update is available on all carrier networks in the US. In the next couple of months, the Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy A52 5G could get the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update.
