Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy A52s earlier today without much fanfare, and pricing details for the UK got revealed moments ago. It turns out that the Galaxy A52s is slightly more expensive than the Galaxy A52 5G — with “slightly” being the keyword here.
The Galaxy A52s 5G featuring 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage will go on sale in the UK for £409, which means it's only £10 more expensive than the regular Galaxy A52 5G, the latter of which is available right now for £399 — with the same memory configuration.
Granted, there's not much of a difference between the Galaxy A52s 5G and the Galaxy A52 5G, which might make you wonder if the higher price is justified. Well, for an extra £10, you get a considerably more powerful and energy-efficient Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset, so it's not a bad proposition by any stretch of the imagination.
Galaxy A52s pre-orders will open soon
Samsung customers in the UK will have the chance to pre-order the Galaxy A52s beginning August 24. The phone will be available in four color options: Awesome Black, Awesome Mint, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White. The Galaxy A52s will ship to customers from September 3.
As yet, launch details for the 8GB + 256GB model are missing, and so are availability details for markets outside the UK. Nevertheless, we can assume that the Galaxy A52s will cost roughly $10 / €10 more than the Galaxy A52 5G in other markets as well.
