Two weeks ago, Samsung released the April 2022 security update to the international model of the Galaxy A53 5G. Now, the update has also been released to the carrier-locked variant of the smartphone in the US.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A53 5G comes with firmware version A536USQU1AVCC in the US. It includes the April 2022 security patch that fixes over 88 privacy and security vulnerabilities. It might also contain general bug fixes and device stability improvements. The update is currently rolling out on T-Mobile's network in the US.
If you are a Galaxy A53 5G user in the US, you can now download the latest software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest software update by downloading the latest firmware file from our database and flashing it manually.
Samsung had launched the Galaxy A53 5G alongside the Galaxy A33 5G and the Galaxy A73 5G a few weeks ago. It runs Android 12-based One UI 4.1 out of the box, and it will get four major Android OS updates in the future.
