Over the past three weeks, Samsung has been updating several phones and tablets with the July 2023 security patch. Now, the South Korean firm has released the new security update to the Galaxy A54 in several countries across Asia, Europe, and Latin American regions.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A54 comes with firmware version A546EXXS4AWG1 in Asian countries, including Bangladesh, India, and Sri Lanka. In European countries, the Galaxy A54 is getting the July 2023 security update with firmware version A546BXXS4AWF7. In Latin American countries, the mid-range phone has started getting a new update bearing firmware version A546EXXS4AWF7.
Galaxy A54 July 2023 security update: What's new?
This new update brings the July 2023 security patch that is confirmed to solve over 90 security flaws found in the previous version of the software. The update doesn't bring any new features or performance improvements.
If you have a Galaxy A54 in any of the countries or regions mentioned above, you can now check for the new update. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install on your phone. Alternatively, you can download the latest firmware file appropriate for your phone's model number from our firmware database and flash it manually using Samsung's Odin tool.
