Samsung joined the emerging ARM-based laptop market two months ago with the launch of the Galaxy Book 4 Edge. Now, the company seems to really want to put the Book 4 Edge in the hands of more customers and has launched a new promotional offer that might seal the deal. Samsung has paired its ARM laptop with a free smart monitor.
For a limited time, when you buy the Galaxy Book 4 Edge laptop, you get a 43-inch Smart Monitor M7 (2024 model) for free. The monitor usually costs $500.
The offer is available for all Book 4 Edge configurations, regardless of whether you pick the 14 or 16-inch variant or the 3.4GHz or 3.8GHz chip.

Needless to say, this is a fantastic offer for prospective laptop buyers who also want a desktop experience at home. And even if they don't, the Smart Monitor M7 can double as a TV.
The 43-inch Smart Monitor M7 doesn't have a coaxial cable connection but does run Tizen OS, just like Samsung's smart TVs, which means it can stream content from apps like Netflix, Disney+, and other smart TV apps.
The TV even ships with a remote. And in select markets, it offers access to services like Samsung TV Plus and Gaming Hub. The 43-inch Smart Monitor has a 4K resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate.
As for the Galaxy Book 4 Edge laptop, it runs Windows 11 Home, but since it is powered by an ARM chip, it can't run native x86-64 software. However, more developers are now optimizing their apps and adding support for the ARM architecture.
