Samsung is working on a bunch of affordable and mid-range smartphones for 2023. Yesterday, the Galaxy A54 was leaked with a brand-new Exynos processor. Now, the possible Galaxy F04s has appeared in the benchmark database, revealing its model number, processor, memory, and Android version.
The Galaxy F04s with model number SM-E045F appeared in Geekbench's database. If the information is correct, the smartphone could also debut as the Galaxy M04 in some countries. The smartphone uses the MediaTek Helio P35 processor, which has an octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU in which four cores are clocked at 2.3GHz, while the other four cores are clocked at 1.8GHz. The chipset uses the PowerVR GE8320 GPU from Imagination Technologies. The smartphone has 3GB of RAM and runs the dated Android 12 operating system.
The upcoming smartphone scored a measly 163 points in the single-core CPU test and 944 points in the multi-core CPU test. So, don't expect the Galaxy F04s/M04 to be able to run anything other than everyday basic apps. Looking at the chipset, the smartphone will likely feature a dual-camera setup and Full HD video recording. It could also feature LPDDR4X RAM, 32GB/64GB eMMC 5.1 storage, LTE, Wi-Fi 5, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB Type-C port.
Similar to most entry-level Galaxy smartphones, we can expect the Galaxy F04s/M04 to feature an LCD Infinity-V display with HD+ resolution and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging. We hope that the phone comes with Android 13 out of the box when it reaches store shelves.
