A recent report teased that the Galaxy F14 5G will go on sale in India for around INR 15,000 ($181). But another rumor is now making the rounds, hinting at a higher price than initially expected and claiming to reveal the exact day on which the F14 will hit the shelves.

According to this new rumor passed along by PriceBaba, the Galaxy F14 will be available in India on March 24. Furthermore, it will be available in purple and green color options and will cost INR 18,490 ($223).

On the other hand, it's worth noting that, as an F-branded phone, the Galaxy F14 should be available through Flipkart. Therefore, there is a chance that prospective buyers could lower the price and get it closer to INR 15,000 through cashback deals and early bird discounts. So, the idea that the Galaxy F14 may cost less than INR 18,490 may not be too far-fetched.

Either that or the higher price corresponds to the model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, whereas the 4GB/64GB variant could cost closer to INR 15,000. But if anything, we should find out more on (or before) the alleged March 24 release.

The Galaxy F14 is said to feature a 6.5-inch or a 6.6-inch 90Hz PLS LCD with a V-shaped cut for the selfie camera and Full HD+ resolution. The device should also have a dual-camera combo consisting of a 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP macro camera. And to top it all off, the Galaxy F14 will reportedly be powered by a 6,000mAh battery.

Other features should include dual-SIM capabilities, Wi-Fi 5, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. Samsung should have fitted the Galaxy F14 with USB-C port as well as a 3.5mm audio connector.
