A few days ago, Samsung surprised everyone by opening the One UI 6.0 Beta Program to the Galaxy F23 5G. It's a lower mid-range smartphone from last year, and such an affordable phone getting access to a new One UI beta version is something new. Now, the company is making progress towards a stable release with a new beta update.
Galaxy F23 5G gets second Android 14 (One UI 6) beta update
The Galaxy F23 5G has started getting the second Android 14-based One UI 6.0 beta update in India. The update comes bearing firmware version E236BXXU4ZWJ6. Since this is a bug-fixing update, it has a download size of 757.08MB, which is a lot smaller than the 2GB update that the device received for the first beta version.
The changelog mentions that Samsung has improved the performance and reliability of the device. The company has also fixed the camera blinking issue that appeared while capturing images. It also fixes issues while using sound mirroring. People reported about apps disappearing on the app screen, and that has been fixed. Samsung has also updated the One UI version for a better experience.
Samsung may release a few more One UI 6.0 beta updates to the Galaxy F23 5G before releasing the stable Android 14 update. The device was launched with Android 12 onboard early last year and received the Android 13-based One UI 5 update in late 2022. Before the end of this year, the phone might get the stable Android 14 update.
