Samsung had launched the Galaxy M01 in India alongside the Galaxy M11 three months ago. The Galaxy M01 was priced at INR 8,999, and it was made available through Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung's online store, and other major retailers in the country. Now, the company has started teasing an official price drop for the Galaxy M01.
The Galaxy M01 will be available for just INR 8,399 in India through Amazon.in starting tomorrow. It is not clear if and when the phone's price will be dropped on Flipkart and Samsung's own online store. The Galaxy M01 is among the most affordable smartphones from Samsung. The company had recently launched the Galaxy M01s and the Galaxy M01 Core in the Indian market, priced at INR 6,499 (around $86) and INR 9,999 (around $133), respectively.
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy M01 with a 5.7-inch TFT screen with HD+ resolution, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 13MP+2MP dual-camera setup at the rear. The phone runs Android 10 with One UI 2 and features the Snapdragon 439 processor. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage. The Galaxy M01 also features a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy M01 is equipped with GPS, a dual-SIM card slot, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2, FM Radio, microUSB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is powered by a 4,000mA battery and comes in three colors: black, blue, and red.
