One UI 6.1 update for Galaxy M23 5G is now live in India

Last month, Samsung released One UI 6.1 to the Galaxy M23 5G. However, the company had made the new software available only in Europe. Now, the tech is rolling out One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy M23 5G in India as well.

The firmware that brings One UI 6.1 to the Galaxy M23 5G carries version E236BXXU6EXE5. Along with One UI 6.1, the new software update also brings the May 2024 security patch to the phone. It fixes 45 security issues. One UI 6.1 brings all the features to the Galaxy M23 5G that it does on other mid-range devices.

One UI 6.1 features on Galaxy M23 5G

A few highlights include new features for editing wallpapers, more widgets for the lock screen, customizable alarm alerts, the ability to share content with other Android devices without the need for a third-party app or internet, enhanced data protection, better experience for tracking exercises and reaching daily targets, more informative weather widgets, more ways to protect battery, and the ability to minimize all apps at once. To get One UI 6.1 on your Galaxy M23 5G, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. If you don’t see the One UI 6.1 update after following the process, then it means that Samsung hasn’t made the new software available for your device. In that case, you will have to wait for a few days to get the update.

If you don’t want to wait, you can download the firmware that brings One UI 6.1 to the Galaxy M23 5G from our database and install it manually using a Windows PC and Odin. Make sure to back up your data before going ahead.
