Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Ring is now eligible for reimbursements through Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) in the USA. These accounts are tax-free and offer a way to set some money aside for medical expenses. The Galaxy Ring can now be claimed as a medical expense.
According to Samsung, getting FSA or HSA reimbursement should be pretty straightforward. Just purchase the Galaxy Ring from Samsung.com and submit the required information to an eligible FSA or HSA plan. You should get the reimbursement if there is enough money in your FSA or HSA account.
You can watch the Galaxy Ring in our hands-on video below.
Samsung hasn't clarified if Galaxy Rings that have already been purchased are eligible for FSA or HSA reimbursements. The Galaxy Ring can be used with any Android smartphone. While Samsung made it appear as if the Galaxy Ring only works with Galaxy smartphones, that isn't the case. This makes the Galaxy Ring useful for many consumers.
The Galaxy Ring can measure and track your heart rate, skin temperature, stress, and sleep, offering a holistic view of your daily health and fitness. It lasts anywhere between 5 and 7 days on a single charge, and its charging case offers an additional 1.5 charges.
