The purple Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition might not remain exclusive to South Korea, as according to a new rumor passed along by @rquandt on Twitter, the limited-edition device is going to be released in Europe where it will likely be accompanied by a couple of BTS-themed accessories.

The Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition with 128GB of storage is going to hit the shelves in Europe for 1,049 euros, according to the source. The phone is likely to boast 5G connectivity and ship along with the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition and possibly the BTS-themed wireless charger that popped up in a press render earlier today.

The Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition appeared on Samsung's UAE portal recently, hinting at an even wider launch. However, the earbuds are going to be sold separately to those who might not want to spend roughly 1,000 euros on a BTS-themed smartphone but still want a purple accessory to highlight their BTS fandom. However, it's not entirely unclear if the BTS-themed Buds+ will be available for purchase in markets where the Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition won't.

Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition on July 9 after a pre-order period of a few weeks running from June 19 to July 5. We expect the limited-edition device to debut in South Korea, the home country of both Samsung and BTS, but fans of the K-pop group in other select markets should be getting the chance to buy the BTS Edition package soon thereafter.
