The Galaxy S21 FE has started getting the April 2024 security update in several countries worldwide. The update is now available across Europe, Latin America, and the USA.

The new update for the Galaxy S21 FE has been released in Europe with firmware version G990BXXS7FXD2. It brings the April 2024 security patch that fixes a few dozen security vulnerabilities discovered in the previous software versions. It doesn't bring any new features or performance enhancements.
In Latin American countries, the same Galaxy S21 FE update has arrived bearing firmware version G990EXXU7FWK6. In the US, the carrier-locked version of the phone is getting updated with firmware version G990USQSAFXD3 on AT&T, Dish, Metro PCS, and T-Mobile's networks.
If you have a Galaxy S21 FE and live in any of the regions mentioned above, you can check for the new update. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
