Samsung has released the February 2024 security update to the Galaxy S21 FE in the US. The company released the update to the Galaxy S20 FE and the Galaxy S23 FE in some countries earlier this week. The update was also released to the Galaxy S21 series a few days ago.
The Galaxy S21 FE could get the new update in other countries and regions within the next few days.
Galaxy S21 FE gets February 2024 security update in the USA
The new security update for the Galaxy S23 FE comes with firmware version G990USQSAFXAI for the carrier-locked model in the US. This update is available on Metro PCS and T-Mobile networks in the country. For the factory-unlocked version of the Galaxy S23 FE, the new security update comes bearing firmware version G990U1UESAFXAA, and it is available on almost all carrier networks in the USA.
The new software update only comes with the February 2024 security patch, which fixes 72 security flaws that were discovered in the previous versions of the software. The update is quite small and doesn't bring any performance improvements or new features. The phone will likely get more features with the One UI 6.1 update that will be released in the next few months.

To do that, open the Settings app on your device and navigate to Software update » Download and install.
