Samsung might soon release a new purple color for the Galaxy S22 Ultra and make it available as an online-exclusive option, at least in some markets.
The Korean tech giant will release its existing online-only color options (Sky Blue, Red, and Graphite) for the Galaxy S22 Ultra in Indonesia within a week, as revealed by a countdown on the official Indonesian portal.
More importantly, the teaser image accompanying the countdown suggests that the already-known colors will be joined by a fourth brand-new purple shade.
Galaxy S22 Ultra Bora Purple coming soon
This new purple color will reportedly be called “Bora Purple” to match the upcoming Galaxy Buds 2 Pro color option with the same name (via @rquandt). The earbuds leaked in 360-degree renders earlier today.
The new purple color option for the Galaxy S22 Ultra should complement the rest of the lineup nicely, given that the base and S22+ variants already have a purple/lavender option.
It's not entirely clear where this new Bora Purple flavor will become available for the Galaxy S22 Ultra outside of Indonesia or whether or not it will launch worldwide. But we'll keep you posted as soon as we find out more.
