Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S23 FE in October 2023, but it was unusual for the company to launch it only in a few Asian countries. A few weeks later, the phone was launched in the US. However, not much is known about the phone's launch in European countries, and it was expected to be available for purchase in January.
Galaxy S23 FE launching in France on December 8
Now, Samsung has finally revealed its launch plans for the Galaxy S23 FE in Europe. The smartphone will be available in France starting December 8, 2023. The device will be available in four colors: Black, Mint, Purple, and White. Samsung hasn't announced the pricing of the Galaxy S23 FE for France yet, though. More information could be released on the day of the launch.
The Galaxy S23 FE has a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,450 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+. The display is protected using Gorilla Glass 5. The phone has the Exynos 2200 processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB internal storage. A 4,500mAh battery powers the phone and features 25W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging. It supports reverse wireless charging, too. Samsung has used a much bigger vapor chamber cooling system for better-sustained performance than the Galaxy S22 series.
On the front, the Galaxy S23 FE has a 10MP selfie camera with 4K 60fps video recording. On the rear, the device has a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. The device also features an in-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, an IP68 rating, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
