Watch Samsung’s intro film about its gazillion new Fan Edition devices

Merely two months after it launched the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S9, and Galaxy Watch 6, all of which are flagship devices with high prices, Samsung has launched Fan Edition devices based on the Galaxy S23, the Galaxy Tab S9, and the Galaxy Buds.

The Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Buds FE, Galaxy Tab S9 FE, and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ are finally official and will go on sale starting tomorrow and all throughout October. As expected, these devices offer flagship-grade specs at more palatable prices, with the Galaxy S23 FE in particular being quite an amazing deal with its $599 starting price, in the US at least.

For some reason, Samsung hasn't made a big deal about the launch of these devices. These devices aren't even listed on Samsung's website in most markets even though sales are supposed to begin tomorrow in “select markets”, and it feels rather hush-hush, almost as if Samsung deliberately downplayed it all.

In fact, the most effort Samsung has put into this launch seems to be an introduction ‘film' it has uploaded on YouTube. The video talks up some of the best Galaxy Tab S23 FE, Galaxy Tab S9 FE, and Galaxy Buds FE features, as you would expect, though it refrains from offering any details that you didn't already get from our coverage here at SamMobile.

Samsung's energy levels around the launch might be lacking, but we were lucky enough to be able to test all the new devices for a week, and our hands-on videos on the SamMobile YouTube channel tell you all about our experience and our initial impressions. Those videos are embedded below for your viewing pleasure once you have gone through Samsung's official video above.
