Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy Tab A8 (2019) LTE and the Galaxy Tab A8 with S Pen (2019) LTE in Taiwan on August 5, the same day when the Galaxy Watch Active 2 is scheduled for its unveiling. The company announced the details of the tablets’ pricing and availability in Taiwan this week, but the S Pen-enabled variant was launched in Thailand a few months back.

The Galaxy Tab A8 (2019) LTE in Taiwan will carry a suggested retail price of NT$ 5,490 ($176). Meanwhile, the variant paired with the S Pen should launch for NT$ 9,900 ($317). Both tablets have an 8-inch display but the cheaper model doesn’t come with an S Pen and has lower overall specifications

It’s powered by the Snapdragon 429 chipset with four CPU cores clocked at 2.0GHz, paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. It includes a 3.5-millimeter headphone jack – something that is missing on the latest high-end Galaxy Tab S6 – and has Bluetooth 4.2 support. The tablet is powered by a 5,100mAh battery.

Likewise, it has a 3.5mm headphone jack but features Bluetooth 5.0 and conceals a 4,200mAh battery.

As stated before, the Galaxy Tab A8 (2019) LTE duo will hit the market in Taiwan on August 5. Customers will be able to purchase either one of these two tablets through various retail channels including Samsung’s Experience Store.
