Last week, Samsung released the stable Android 14 update to the Galaxy Tab S9 series in Europe. Now, the update is expanding to North America, with the Galaxy Tab S9 devices getting the new software in Canada and the US. More countries could get the feature-packed update in the next few days.
Galaxy Tab S9 gets Android 14 update in Canada and the USA
The stable Android 14 (One UI 6.0) update for the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is available in Canada and the US (C Spire network). It comes with firmware version X910XXU1BWK6 for the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, X810XXU1BWK6 for the Galaxy Tab S9+, and X710XXU1BWK6 for the Galaxy Tab S9. Along with One UI 6.0, the update also brings the November 2023 security update.
If you have a Galaxy Tab S9 series tablet in the US, you can check for the new update by opening the Settings app, navigating to Software update, and tapping Download and install. You can also download the newly available firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Android 14 brings several new features to the Galaxy Tab S9 series. Some of those features include a new Quick Panel design, a tweaked notifications design, a new media player widget with waveform animations, completely new emojis, and a new font.
