The One UI 6 Watch Beta Program launched for the Galaxy Watch 6 lineup earlier this month, and Samsung has now brought it to the Galaxy Watch 5 series.
Galaxy Watch 5 owners—and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro users, we're assuming—can test out Galaxy AI and other new features through the beta program ahead of One UI 6 Watch's official release next month.
The beta program will be available in Korea and the USA. The first beta update has reportedly gone live in Korea, and a US release shouldn't be far behind.
If you own a Galaxy Watch 5, you can sign up for the beta program in the Samsung Members app. Once you have signed up, you will be able to download the update from the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected phone.
However, it appears that not everyone can download the update right now, suggesting it's a phased rollout that will take some time to reach all corners of Korea. If that's the case for you, just try again a few hours later!
The One UI 6 Watch beta, the full changelog for which can be found here, is also available for the Galaxy Watch 4 lineup. Some of the new features include Galaxy AI-powered sleep insights, new gestures for controlling the watch, an improved power saving mode, and more.
