A few days ago, Samsung released the August 2024 security patch to the carrier-unlocked variant of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G and now, the company is making it available for the carrier-locked variant of the device for the United States, which has the model number SM-F707U.
The new software update has the firmware version F707USQS9IXH1 and the August 2024 security patch it brings, fixes 50 security issues. Go to Settings » Software update » Download and install to check for the latest update manually if your device hasn’t notified you about it already.

If case your Galaxy Z Flip 5G doesn’t show the update, you have to wait till Samsung makes it available for your device. If you don’t want to wait, you can go to our firmware section, download the new firmware, and install it manually using Odin. Make sure to back up data before taking this route.
Currently, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is on the Quarterly Security Updates schedule, which means that Samsung will release one security update to the phone every three months. So, expect the next security patch for the device to arrive in November or December.
