Samsung has been continuously rolling out software updates to its high-end phones. A couple of weeks ago, the company released the One UI 6.1 update to the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The company has now released a new security update to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in Europe and the US.
Galaxy Z Fold 3 gets April 2024 update in Europe
The latest Galaxy Z Fold 3 software update is now available in European countries. The update comes with firmware version F926BXXS6GXD1 and has a relatively small download size. It brings the April 2024 security patch that fixes a few dozen security shortcomings discovered in the previous software.
If you have a Galaxy Z Fold 3 and live in Europe, you can now check for the new update and download it on your foldable phone. Open the Settings app, navigate to Software update, and tap Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in 2021 with Android 11 onboard. The phone received the Android 12 update in late 2021, the Android 13 update in late 2022, and the Android 14 update in late 2023. It will get the One UI 6.1 update with new features in the next few weeks.
