After unveiling the date for its Galaxy Unpacked August 2021 event, Samsung has published a video trailer for its upcoming event. Apart from teasing the design of the Galaxy Z Fold 3, the video asks us an important question: Is “good” good enough?
The video starts by showcasing some old mobile phones with bar, clamshell, and QWERTY designs from Blackberry, HTC, Motorola, and Nokia. Then, it tells us why sometimes change is a good thing and how it paves the way for better devices, and then it shows the Galaxy S20 Ultra. The trailer also shows the same horizon-like design that was leaked last week, and then it turns into a silhouette of the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
The video trailer then shows the Galaxy Z Fold 3 opening to show some crazy Inception movie-style graphics with unfolding skyscrapers. The video then ends with the tagline “Get ready to unfold” and the event date: August 11, 2021.
Samsung is expected to unveil two foldable smartphones, two smartwatches, and new truly wireless earbuds during its upcoming event. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will have more durable and sleeker designs, faster processors, and improved software. The Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic will be the first Samsung smartwatches to run Wear OS 3. The Galaxy Buds 2 will bring ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) at an affordable price point.
