Samsung has released the November 2023 update for yet another device from its foldable lineup. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 started getting the November update earlier this week, and it is now rolling out to the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
The Z Fold 3 update comes with firmware version F926BXXS5FWK2; it became available in Europe first, but it should start making its way to other regions in the coming days. Samsung might even have the Android 14/One UI 6.0 update ready for the Fold 3 in a couple of weeks, though we're just speculating here as Samsung hasn't officially provided any One UI 6 roadmap.
The November 2023 security patch is the only new thing in the latest Galaxy Z Fold 3 update. The November patch fixes 65 vulnerabilities in Android and One UI and a few vulnerabilities that affect Galaxy devices with some Exynos processors. Those chip-based vulnerabilities aren't present on the Z Fold 3, as it is powered by a Snapdragon chip worldwide.
To download the update on your Galaxy Z Fold 3, you can open the phone's Settings app, select Software update, and tap Download and install. Alternatively, download the full firmware from our archive and install it on the phone using a Windows PC.
