Galaxy Z Fold 4's carrier-locked version gets June 2023 security update in the US
The latest software update for the carrier-locked version of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 comes bearing firmware version F936USQU2CWEM. The update is currently available on Comcast and Xfinity Mobile. Other carriers could release the new update within the next few weeks on their networks. According to Samsung's documentation, the June 2023 security patch fixes more than 50 security flaws found in Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
If you have a Galaxy Z Fold 4's carrier-locked version in the US, you can now check for the new update. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 in the second half of 2022 with Android 12-based One UI 4.1.1 onboard. The devices received the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 late last year and the One UI 5.1 update earlier this year. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 will get the Android 14 update later this year.
