Samsung's previous-generation foldable phones, i.e., the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3, are about to become a whole lot more affordable in India thanks to the upcoming Flipkart Big Diwali Sale and Amazon's Great Indian Festival Sale. The two foldable phones will be reaching their lowest prices to date, starting later this week.
Flipkart's sales event kicks off on October 8, whereas Amazon will offer discounts on Samsung's foldable devices from October 10. More specifically, Flipkart will offer the Galaxy Z Flip 3 for an estimated price of INR 5x,xxx, down from the original price of INR 95,999 and the current (20% off) price of INR 75,999. Meanwhile, Amazon will offer the Galaxy Z Fold 3 for an estimated INR 10x,xxx, beginning October 10. As of this writing, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is available at Amazon for INR 139,999, down from the INR 171,999 M.R.P.
Although the exact discount prices are not entirely known, enough information has surfaced to determine that this will be the best price reduction for the 2021 Samsung foldable phones to date.
Cheaper ticket to One UI 4.1.1
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 have both been updated with the latest version of One UI available to the public at large, namely One UI 4.1.1.
This version of One UI debuted with the newer Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4. But thanks to Samsung's timely updates, the 2021 foldable phones can now enjoy similar features as the latest models, including new multi-window gestures and a dedicated taskbar for improved mobile productivity and multitasking.
If you want to own a Samsung foldable phone that runs the latest firmware but you don't wish to pay the full price for the 2022 models, you might be able to get a lot more value from the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 if you buy them at their lowest prices yet.
