According to the latest report, the Gmail ‘Help Me Write' feature is now widely available to more users on Android and iOS. Apparently, the feature is available only to the testers in the Workspace Labs program, and it is picking up pace. This feature will help those users who are not able to frame a perfect email or require instant help composing an email.

Google's new ‘Help me write' feature will come to the rescue and use the powerful generative AI that will easily let you complete or compose an email. This feature was announced during the annual Google I/O 2023 event. Previously, the Gmail ‘Help me write' feature was limited to desktops, but now it is widely rolling out to Samsung Galaxy and other Android phones, along with iOS devices.

The Gmail Help me write feature lets you further refine the already-created message

When you create a new email, you will be greeted with an introductory prompt about the AI feature. Afterward, you will see a Help Me Write button at the bottom of the compose email box. Tapping on this button will ask you to enter a prompt where you can describe the subject of your email, for example, A thank you letter for my job interview or A Job Application. The AI will use its brain to generate a draft, which the users can edit and modify as per their needs.

As noted by 9to5Google, you can further tweak the composed message by tapping the Refine button in a handful of ways; Formalize, Elaborate, Shorten, I’m Feeling Lucky, and Write a draft. You can hit the Replace button to tweak what's already filled in.
