We'll be taking a look at Good Lock and all its components in the coming weeks, and we're kicking things off with a video overview of the Good Lock module we think you should start using right now — assuming you have access to Good Lock already — or as soon as you'll get the opportunity.
The Good Lock module we're featuring in our new content saga is called NavStar. To keep its description short, NavStar lets you customize One UI's swipe gestures and create highly personalized navigation buttons.
In other words, NavStar offers you some interesting options regardless of whether you prefer nav buttons or UI gestures, and it's definitely worth checking out. You won't interact with NavStar much or at all once you set your nav button or swipe gestures to your liking, but it offers extra personalization options you won't find in One UI.
Check out our Good Lock overview video below, and remember to subscribe to our YouTube channel and stay tuned for more. We'll explore other Good Lock modules in the coming weeks.
If you're wondering about the availability of Good Lock, Samsung Community moderators said the platform's global release will coincide with the launch of One UI 7.
Technically speaking, One UI 7 is already available globally through the Galaxy S25 series, but Good Lock has remained region-locked. This probably means Good Lock will go live everywhere once One UI 7 starts reaching older Galaxy devices over the air.
