Samsung’s One Hand Operation + app, a Good Lock module, allows you to modify gestures on your Samsung smartphone at a much deeper level than the phone’s inbuilt settings. While the app already offers many customization options, Samsung has now updated it with four more features that could come in handy in day-to-day usage.
The new One Hand Operation + app comes with version 6.1.21, and it brings the ‘Smart Select' feature with four options: Animation, Oval, Pin, and Rectangle. This feature allows you to capture screenshots of different sizes and shapes, record a desired portion of the screen for up to fifteen seconds, and pin a portion of your display simply by using gestures.
For example, you can swipe up from the right side of the screen to access the Smart Select (Rectangle) option, which will bring up a rectangular box that you can resize. Once you customize the window size according to your need, tap the ‘Done’ button, and the phone will capture a screenshot of the screen portion that you selected. Similarly, the Smart Select (Oval) option will allow you to take oval-shaped screenshots.
As for Smart Select (Animation), accessing it will bring up a window that you can resize. Once you set that window to the desired size, tap the ‘Record' button to record the selected portion of the screen. The recording length, however, is limited to fifteen seconds. The Smart Select (Pin) option also brings up a resizable window. Once you select the window size and click on the ‘Pin' button, it will pin the selected portion on the display.
We can confirm that the latest One Hand Operation + update is available to download in the US and India. However, Samsung could have also made it available in your region. To check for the update, go to Good Lock app, tap on the three-dot icon on the top-right corner of the screen, and select ‘Update all.' It should open Galaxy Store where the update automatically starts to download.
