Google releases Android 13 Beta 3.3 with an emoji filled easter egg

As we inch closer to the official launch of Android 13, Google has released the Android 13 Beta 3.3 update. For beta testers, this update is a blessing, as it brings a bunch of bug fixes that they were facing with various UI elements and device connectivity. Not only this, but the new Android 13 Beta 3.3 update also brings an easter egg, which is literally filled with fun emojis.

Android's annual Easter egg is an event where Google gives away hidden secrets about the upcoming Android version in the form of mini-games or fun highlights. In previous years, we have had the Flappy Bird game, cat minigames, paint chip widget, and more. This year, Google has included an Easter egg that, although, seems similar to last year's clock-based puzzle, comes with an emoji twist.

Android 13 beta testers can activate this easter egg by heading to the About section and keep tapping the version number. Now, set the time to 1:00 — 1300 in military time, and bam! You will see last year's screen, but with 13 replacing 12. Also, when you press the bubbles, they will reveal and switch to different emojis.

As noted by 9To5Google, you will see emojis of fruits, cat faces, regular faces, expressive (eye) faces, melting faces, hearts, outer space, moon, aquatic life, monkeys, zodiac signs, clocks, flowers, and turtle king. While this is a fun twist, it is not giving away many details about Android 13's release date.
