HBO Max is available for Samsung smart TVs in more countries starting today. The subscription-based streaming platform launched today in six additional countries across Europe, including Andorra and Spain, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.
With the streaming platform now live, Samsung smart TV users in the aforementioned markets can now download the HBO Max app from the Galaxy Store. The platform offers access to a variety of shows and cult classic movies, such as Game of Thrones, Friends, The Sopranos, The Matrix, the Harry Potter series, and more.
HBO Max is available for all Samsung smart TV models released in 2016 and later.
HBO Max is debuting at half the price
HBO is trying to leave a mark upon debuting in these additional markets. In Nordic countries, the monthly subscription price is being reduced by a couple of dollars, but more importantly, new HBO Max customers can now sign up at half the price.
Customers in Spain, Andorra, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden can now subscribe to HBO Max at half the monthly fee throughout November 30. More importantly, these customers will be able to keep paying half the price forever, or rather, for as long as they don't cancel their subscriptions.
HBO Max has a monthly fee of roughly €8.99, give or take, depending on each market. But new customers who sign up before November 30 can enjoy HBO Max for €4.49 a month.
