After multiple delays, Samsung finally launched the Galaxy S21 FE at CES 2022. We got to spend some time with it and all of its colour variants, which you can check out here.
Samsung has already started selling it in Russia ahead of its January 11 sale date. Now, Samsung India has also put out a teaser about the Galaxy S21 FE's India launch.
Customers in India can now pre-book the Galaxy S21 FE
Samsung India is now letting consumers reserve their copy of the Galaxy S21 FE for Rs 999. Those who pre-order the smartphone will get a pair of Samsung SmartTags worth Rs 2,699 for free. Additionally, if anyone wants to cancel their pre-order for whatever reason, they can do so without any cancellation charges.
Other information such as the Galaxy S21 FE launch date in India and when the device will be available for purchase isn't mentioned, but it shouldn't be too long before Samsung tells us. Based on the global prices, we can expect the Galaxy S21 FE to cost around Rs 50,000 in India.
Now, let's address the elephant in the room, i.e. which processor will the Galaxy S21 FE Indian variant come with? Our speculation from earlier suggests that it will use the Exynos 2100, much like its predecessor, the Galaxy S20 FE, which launched with the Exynos 990. This time around, a Snapdragon 888-powered refresh seems unlikely, as the Exynos 2100 in the Galaxy S21 FE is already 5G-ready.
