Samsung Electronics technologies have lit up the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas — home of the Las Vegas Raiders professional football team. The tech giant signed an exclusivity deal with the Raiders and announced today that the Allegiant Stadium now boasts the largest outdoor stadium marquee in professional football. It has an area of 27,600 square feet.
Aside from this giant outdoor LED mesh display that will greet football fans at the upcoming Big Game in February, Samsung also equipped the Allegiant Stadium with:
- One 12,250-square-foot primary scoreboard.
- Two 5,978-square-foot video boards.
- 41 video screens.
- 2,553 displays throughout the venue. Their size ranges from 27 to 98 inches.
In total, Samsung says it has exclusively outfitted the stadium with 66,000 square feet of Samsung LED, which equates to around 93 million pixels.
Las Vegas Raiders Headquarters and Cox Studios get Samsung displays
The Samsung-Raiders partnership also sees more Samsung displays installed at two other sites, namely the Las Vegas Raiders headquarters and Cox Studios, both located at the Intermountain Health Performance Center.
The Las Vegas Raiders Headquarters now offers more than 250 Samsung displays. Among them is a 144-square-foot pixel pitch LED 4K HDR video board installed in the team meeting room. Cox Studios, where The Silver and Black Show original content is created, got new Samsung monitors.
Samsung says, “When the Big Game comes to Las Vegas [February 9 – 11], Allegiant Stadium will be ready to wow football fans with an amazing line-up of Samsung's show-stopping visual technology […].” Samsung is confident that its state-of-the-art display technologies can wow fans “Even in the entertainment capital of the world.”
