Samsung is perhaps the most experienced at launching new color variants of its flagships weeks or months after they go on sale, and we had always expected the same would be the case for the Galaxy S21 lineup. And the latest tidbit from the rumor mill has revealed what those new post-launch color options for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra might be.
According to Ishan Agarwal, Samsung will launch a red version of the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ sometime after the two phones hit retail stores. The Galaxy S21 Ultra, meanwhile, could get three new color variants: blue, bronze, and titanium. Since none of these have gone official yet, we can't say what any of the additional color variants will look like, though we can expect them to be quite attractive based on what we have seen of the color options that will be available for the three Galaxy S21 models initially.
In case you haven't kept up with previous rumors, the base Galaxy S21 model is expected to launch in pink, violet, gray, and white and the S21+ in violet, black, and silver. The Galaxy S21 Ultra is expected to have only two launch-day options (black and silver), which may be why Samsung is planning to introduce as many as three new colors for it. As usual, there's a good chance these new colors will only be available in select markets. Samsung finally got color availability right with the Galaxy S20 FE, but it remains to be seen if the company will manage to do so for its upcoming flagship lineup as well.
Would you wait for the new color options to be announced before buying one of the Galaxy S21 models, or does a phone's color not matter to you all that much? Let us know down in the comments!
