Samsung has released a new version of Samsung Internet for Galaxy smartphones and tablets. It carries version 25.0.1.3. In the changelog, the company says that the latest update to the web browser offers fixes for bugs and improves the stability of the app, and that’s about it. It doesn’t bring any new features. We hope that it contains a fix for the issue where BitWarden wasn’t being supported by the web browser after the last update.
To update Samsung Internet to this version, go to Galaxy Store » Menu » Updates and click on the update icon beside the web browser or tap the Update all icon at the top-right corner of the display. We haven’t received the update on our Galaxy S23 or Galaxy S24+ in India yet. Considering the listing of the web browser mentions the changelog for the new version, Samsung seems to have started rolling it out in a few regions.
The story continues after the video below, where you can take a look at the limitations of Samsung DeX.
If you have been enjoying Samsung Internet on your Android device, you should know that you can now get the web browser on your Windows PC as well. That’s right. Back in March, the South Korean tech giant launched Samsung Internet for Microsoft Windows. You can download it on your device from the Microsoft Store. We hope that the company also makes the web browser available for Apple’s Mac devices in the near future.
