Samsung's smartphones look very similar nowadays. It's understandable, seeing how the company perfected its design over the years with minimalism and durability in mind. It works, and modern Samsung phones years have had the best build quality in recent history.
What's more unusual is that Samsung's phone cases underwent a similar process when, perhaps, they shouldn't have. For example, the S View Wallet Case for the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy A55 look very much alike. But that wasn't always the case — no pun intended — and Samsung's accessories used to differ more across different phone lineups.
All modern S View Wallet Cases look alike
Many Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52s, and Galaxy A53 owners know this. But before the A54 came along last year, mid-range Samsung phones used to have a more experimental approach for their S View Wallet Case designs.
A prime example of this is the S View Wallet Cover design for the Galaxy A52 / A52s and the Galaxy A53. This case still has one of the most unique S View Wallet designs of all, and judging by Samsung's direction, we'll probably never see anything like this in the future.
It's a shame that Samsung appears to have homogenized its case designs across different smartphone lineups. Then again, old ideas are often replaced by new ones, and to be fair, we did gain new ways to personalize some of our Samsung phones through the FlipSuit Case and interchangeable NFC cards. Perhaps Samsung will make FlipSuit cases available to more phone lineups in the future.
As for these bold Galaxy A52 / A52s and A53 S View Wallet Cases, you can still buy them online with a bit of luck. If you want one for your Galaxy A53, the S View Wallet Case is available on Samsung's online shop in some markets (like the UK) as we speak. However, if you missed out on the A52 / A52s S View case, you might have a harder time finding one today.
