Samsung fans have been patiently waiting for the One UI 7 beta ever since the company mentioned the upcoming iteration of its software in passing at SDC 2024 in October. It had confirmed at the event that One UI 7 won't be released before next year, but the beta program would begin by the end of this year.
While an official confirmation about the One UI 7 beta launch has yet to arrive from Samsung, it appears that Samsung Germany has inadvertently revealed when the beta will go live, and it may arrive sooner than you might think.
Samsung may launch the One UI 7 beta program tomorrow
Someone reached out to Samsung Germany through the official customer support channel and asked about the One UI 7 beta launch date. The support representative confirmed that the One UI 7 beta program will be launched tomorrow, December 5, for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra. They even shared artwork which confirms the impending launch of the beta program.
It's not surprising that Samsung's 2024 flagship Galaxy S series will be the first to receive access to the beta. We do expect that the beta will be expanded to more devices as that has been the case in the past. There's a long list of devices that support One UI 7, after all.
All of the One UI 7 leaks that we've seen so far paint a promising picture for the upcoming version of Samsung's custom skin. The company is making some significant design improvements as well as the addition of several new features. It's an elaborate re-imagination of One UI and surely Samsung fans can't wait to get their hands on it.
Germany won't be the only country where the One UI 7 beta is launched. There are many countries where the beta will eventually be available, so users in eligible countries may get notified to join the beta program as soon as tomorrow.
