As scheduled, Pocketpair released Palworld on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, and Xbox Game Pass yesterday. Now, Pocketpair has announced that it sold over one million copies of Palword within eight hours of release. The developer hasn’t revealed if that figure also includes downloads made using Microsoft’s game subscription service. Even if the figure includes those downloads, it is quite an achievement for the developer, especially considering that the game is still in early access.
According to Pocketpair, Palword will be in early access for one more year. That means the game could have bugs and issues, and the developer will keep solving those problems, optimizing the game, and adding new features for the next twelve months.
Palworld is an open-world survival crafting game that you can play in multiplayer mode with up to 32 people. This game is similar to Pokemon but it has guns. That’s also why people refer to Palworld as ‘Pokemon with guns'. The title is available to purchase on Steam and Xbox for USD 29.99. On a related note, Microsoft announced the timeframe for the release of Ara: History Untold, Avowed, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Vision of Mana, and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II at Developer_Direct.
