At the IFA 2023 expo in Germany, which is one of the world's biggest consumer electronics and home appliances trade shows, Samsung unveiled the A-40% washing machine. It is designed to reduce energy consumption by 40%, which makes it reach the A Energy Efficiency class limit.
The intelligent technologies that Samsung has implemented in the A-40% washing machine will help reduce these products' environmental impact. The A-40% washing machine can easily optimize washing performance and reduce energy usage. The washing machine has a 10kg loading capacity and a BESPOKE design. The Samsung A-40% washing machine will be available in Europe in Q1 2024.
The Samsung A-40% washing machine introduced at IFA 2023 also comes with an AI Wash feature that helps enhance washing performance and reduce washing waste by intelligently adjusting the soaking, rinsing, and spinning times based on the amount of water and detergent added. A ‘Super Speed Cycle' also helps deeply wash the clothes while cutting down the cycle time.
This washing machine will offer the SmartThings connectivity feature that can help reduce energy usage using the AI Energy Mode in SmartThings Energy. Thanks to the connectivity features, users can monitor their power consumption and estimate their monthly electricity bills.
