Samsung announced multiple new Bespoke series home appliances at its Bespoke Life 2023 event. These devices include the Bespoke Jet AI vacuum cleaner, Bespoke 4-Door Flex refrigerator, limited-edition Bespoke panels, and Less Microfibre Filter accessory for washing machines.
The company also revealed its future strategies related to the Bespoke lineup of products at the event. More specifically, about the steps the tech giant is taking to reduce the impact of its home appliances on nature.
Samsung Bespoke Jet AI
The Bespoke Jet AI is a cordless handheld vacuum cleaner, and it succeeds the Bespoke Jet that was launched last year. The new model features a HexaJet Motor with 280W of suction power, which has 25% more power than last year’s model. Despite being more powerful, the motor weighs only 150 grams.
The biggest improvement, however, is in terms of battery capacity and battery life. The Bespoke Jet AI packs a 4,500mAh battery, which is 70% larger than the one in the precious model. According to Samsung, it offers 100 minutes of usage on a single charge, and it can retain 70% of the battery capacity even at 500 cycles of charging.
The Bespoke Jet AI, as the name suggests, features an AI Cleaning Mode. It uses data from sensors installed in the vacuum cleaner to detect the brush load and the type of floor on which the product is being used. Based on those readings, the AI Cleaning Mode applies an algorithm that offers optimal suction power and brush roll speed, which helps lower power consumption and increases the vacuum cleaner’s maneuverability.
The flagship vacuum cleaner comes with the All-in-One Clean Station that automatically empties the dustbin in the vacuum cleaner. According to Samsung, it offers quicker and more hygienic cleaning compared to the one included with the previous model. Of course, the product has Wi-Fi connectivity and features the SmartThings platform, which allows users to monitor and customize the settings of the vacuum cleaner remotely.
The Bespoke Jet AI is also the world’s first handled vacuum cleaner to feature AI verification by UL Solutions.
The product comes with two brushes (Active Dual Brush and Slim LED Brush+) and will be available in two colors: Satin Black and Satin Greige. Samsung is yet to reveal the price and availability of the Bespoke Jet AI. Considering that the previous model was launched for $449, expect the new one to come with a slightly higher price tag.
Samsung Bespoke 4-Door Flex with Family Hub+
The Bespoke 4-Door Flex with Family Hub+ is a new version of the Bespoke 4-Door Flex with Family Hub. The new model features a whopping 32-inch display, which is significantly larger than the already monstrous 21.5-inch screen in the previous model. Apart from this, the brand hasn’t revealed any other features of the new model. Samsung, however, has revealed that it is also bringing new side-by-side and top-mounted Bespoke refrigerators to the market. However, it hasn’t announced its pricing or availability details.
With new refrigerators, Samsung has announced four limited-edition Bespoke Panels in collaboration with TOILETPAPER. These are the same designs that were showcased by the company at the Fuorisalone 2023 event.
Samsung Less Microfibre Filter
Samsung's Less Microfibre Filter is an accessory for select washing machines from the company. It traps microfibre particles in water coming out from a washing machine, thus reducing the amount of microfibre escaping into the ocean.
“The Less Microfiber Filter takes this a step further, preventing up to 98% of microplastics released during laundry from escaping into the ocean, equivalent to eight 500ml plastic bottles per year when used four times a week. In addition, to help more customers get involved in cutting microplastic emissions, the Less Microfiber Filter has a mountable design style that allows it to be used with standard washing machine models, demonstrating the company’s dedication to long-term sustainability and helping customers embrace sustainability at home.“
According to Samsung, the accessory is now available in the UK and South Korea, and it will soon arrive in the US. The brand, however, hasn’t revealed its price.
