Samsung is finally ready to bring the Galaxy A04s and the Galaxy A23 5G out to the market for customers in the UK. The company made the official launch announcement today and revealed when and for how much these two new budget devices will hit the UK market. Fortunately, they're both planned to go on sale before the end of the month.

The Galaxy A23 5G will be the first to hit the UK market from September 16 onward. Customers will be able to buy it online from Samsung as well as through the company's major retail partners. The phone will be available in black, white, and light blue for £289.

The cheaper Galaxy A04s will be available in the UK from September 23. Customers will have two color options — black and white — and one memory configuration featuring 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The A04s will hit the market for £159.

The £159 Galaxy A04s features a 6.5-inch HD+ PLS LCD Infinity-U display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and it's powered by the Exynos 850 chipset and 3GB of RAM. The device carries a 50MP primary camera, 2MP depth and macro shooters, and a 5MP selfie camera. The Galaxy A04s relies on a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging capabilities.

The Galaxy A23 5G has a slightly larger 6.6-inch PLS LCD panel with an Infinity-V cut and a higher refresh rate of 120Hz. It, too, carries a 50MP primary camera, but this time it has optical image stabilization. It's also equipped with 2MP depth and macro sensors, and an 8MP selfie camera.

Finally, the Galaxy A23 5G relies on the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. It has a 5,000mAh battery, this time with 25W charging. Both phones run Android 12 and One UI Core 4.1. They feature fingerprint scanners but neither device ships with a wall charger in the box.
