Earlier this year, Samsung unveiled its Bespoke home appliances lineup, featuring devices with a customizable look. Today, the company announced that it is adding more appliances to the Bespoke lineup. Next week, all these home appliances will be showcased at CES 2022 in Las Vegas in the US.
The South Korean tech giant announced its first-ever Bespoke French Door refrigerator. It comes in 3-door, 4-door, and Family Hub variants. It will be available in two finishes (glass and metal). Consumers can get the glass variant in seven colors: Charcoal, Clementine, Gray, Morning Blue, Pink, Sunrise Yellow, and White. The metal version comes in five colors: Emerald Green, Matte Black, Navy, Stainless Steel, and Tuscan.
Apart from adding new colors, Samsung has also upgraded the smart bits of its new Family Hub refrigerator. It now features a bezel-less 21.5-inch display, Amazon's Alexa voice assistant, and upgraded internal cameras that can scan food labels. The display can be used to watch movies and TV shows, view security camera feeds, and mirror the screen from a Galaxy smartphone or Samsung's smart TV.
The new refrigerator now comes with the Samsung TV Plus video streaming service that offers free access to hundreds of channels for free. It also features SmartThings, which means that you can control all SmartThings compatible smart home products, including sensors, door locks, ACs, washing machines, and more.
Samsung also unveiled Bespoke Jet, which is its cordless stick vacuum cleaner. It comes in three colors: Midnight Blue, Misty White, and Woody Green. The South Korean tech giant claims that it has 210W of suction power and can clean 99.99% of fine dust. Once docked, the Bespoke Jet can automatically empty the dust bag and begin charging.
The company also announced Bespoke Washer and Dryer with a flat front design and multiple color options, including Black and Navy. The MultiControl feature makes operating them easier when the Dryer and the Washer are stacked. They also have the AI OptiWash feature that chooses the optimal detergent, wash time, and other settings, making the whole process easier.
Kanghyup Lee, Executive VP and Head of Sales and Marketing at Samsung's Digital Appliances Business, said, “The Bespoke concept was not just designed for the kitchen. We believe that consumers should have the freedom to customize their entire home to match their lifestyle needs. This expansion of the lineup empowers consumers to create living spaces that truly reflect their tastes and aesthetics — using Samsung's meaningful innovations and technology.”
