Samsung has launched Samsung Finance+ in Vietnam, a platform that allows people to purchase a Galaxy smartphone on EMI quickly and conveniently even if they don’t have a credit history, are not eligible for a bank loan, or are not served by other financial services. This service made its debut in India in 2020. Later, the company expanded the platform to Thailand and Indonesia. Vietnam is the third Southeast Asian country to get it.
In Vietnam, Samsung Finance+ will allow people to purchase a Galaxy smartphone on EMI without a downpayment, which will be very helpful for people going through challenging financial situations. Repayment options are also very flexible. Customers can repay the loan in 3, 6, or 12 EMIs. Even more impressive is that financing will be provided at a 0% interest rate, which will lighten the burden on customers’ pockets.
Fast loan application processing time and Samsung Finance+ app
The tech giant claims that Samsung Finance+ will have an 80% loan approval rate and that an application will be processed in just seven minutes. The service is available for people aged 18 years and above. To use Samsung Finance+, customers must provide a valid Vietnamese citizen identity card at the Samsung store where this service is available, and the rest of the process will be handled by the agents there. Users can then pay EMIs and check the remaining loan amount or the next EMI date using the Samsung Finance+ app.
Samsung Finance+ in Vietnam is powered by Kredivo. That means Kredivo will be the one to check and process your loan application and provide you with the finance. Apart from helping people to get their dream devices on EMI, Samsung Finance+ will also increase the purchasing power of the people in the country. It could also help in increasing the sales of Samsung phones in Vietnam. We hope the company will also allow people to use Samsung Finance+ for other product categories.
