The largest consumer electronics brand in India, Samsung, has joined hands with TheUpsideSpace for the Mumbai Gallery Weekend. Samsung will be the screen partner for the event at the APRE Art House in Colaba, Mumbai, India. TheUpsideSpace is an NFT marketplace highlighting artists and arts from Southeast Asia, South Asia, and the Middle East.
The artworks under the theme Futur Proche (which means The Near Future) will be displayed on The Frame TV, which is known for its brilliant aesthetics and superb viewing capabilities that will bring art to life. The Frame TV comes with a matte display, eliminating reflections on the screen and also allowing you to feel the texture of the artwork.
Samsung's collaboration with TheUpsideSpace shows the deep integration of digital platforms in the display of art and also how art lovers are consuming art. The Mumbai Gallery Weekend started on January 12 and will continue until February 28, 2023. At the event, TheUpsideSpace artists' works such as Manjot Kaur's “Alpha Canis Majoris” and Yasir Waqas' “scraped together a small square of dust” will be shown on The Frame TV.
The Frame TV's exceptional design, QLED technology, life-like colors, enhanced contrast, powerful Quantum Processor 4K, 4K AI upscaling capabilities, SpaceFit Sound, and other distinguishing features make it an ideal display for such artistic events.
The Samsung Art Store also provides unlimited access to a library of over 1,600 modern and classic artworks ranging from local folk arts Madubhani from Bihar, Gond artworks from Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha, and even Pattachitra Paintings of Odisha and Bengal, Kalighat folk arts and more.
