You've probably been hearing a lot about free storage upgrades from Samsung during the Galaxy S24 pre-order period. However, it doesn't take a brand-new phone and a pre-order program for Samsung to offer more storage at a discount. Sometimes, these offers apply to all sorts of devices.
Take the Galaxy Z Fold 5, for example. As we speak, the 512GB variant is available for the price of the 256GB model. Customers can spend $1,799 instead of $1,919 and get twice the memory capacity for their new foldable phone.
More value for your money
In addition to this free memory upgrade from 256GB to 512GB, the 1TB Galaxy Z Fold 5 is also getting a flat $200 discount from $2,159 to $1,959.
These deals apply regardless of whether you buy the Galaxy Z Fold 5 outright or through a 24-month payment plan with Samsung Financing.
Last but not least, if you want to trade an older Galaxy phone for a new one, you can save up to an extra $750 thanks to Samsung's enhanced trade-in discounts.
More specifically, you can get $750 for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. However, if you're upgrading from an older Galaxy Z Fold model to the Z Fold 5, you can get $600 when you exchange the Fold 4, $450 on the Fold 3, $400 on the Fold 2, and $300 on the original Galaxy Fold.
And as usual, Samsung's also willing to give you a pretty big discount if you're switching over from Apple and trading-in a relatively new iPhone.
