Samsung could soon offer customers another low-cost 5G smartphone powered by a Qualcomm chipset. The Galaxy A23 5G was recently spotted at Geekbench, and assuming that the benchmark entry is legitimate, the low-cost Samsung device will hit the shelves in the United States rocking the Snapdragon 695 SoC.
The Galaxy A23 5G has yet to be officially announced, but according to the online benchmark, it should be powered by Qualcomm's 2021 budget 5G chipset, which includes eight CPU cores (6+2 cores) and an Adreno 619 GPU. (via MySmartPrice)
Samsung appears to have fitted the Galaxy A23 5G with 4GB of RAM, but other memory variants could exist. This upcoming low-cost Galaxy phone should run Android 12 and One UI 4.1 at launch.

Speaking of launch, the Galaxy A23 5G — or at least this particular variant carrying model number SM-A236U — should be headed for the US market.
But the Galaxy A23 5G won't be a USA exclusive. According to earlier reports, Samsung is also preparing the Galaxy A23 5G for release in Europe.
Other specs are unknown, but the Galaxy A23 5G should share some hardware with the 4G model. Therefore, it could boast a 50MP primary camera and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging. We'll keep you updated as soon as more details emerge.
